Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Standard

OBSIDIAN was the first novel I read by Armentrout. Suffice it to say, it won’t be last.

Katy’s new neighbors are aliens with special powers. While Katy is befriending new neighbor Dee, it is Daemon – Dee’s brother – that intrigues Katy. The attraction between Katy and Daemon were enough that I could almost feel the sparks between them flying off the page. The writing is fast, witty, and had me cracking up. The alien energy that Katy absorbs is a bit much, but the scene between Katy and Daemon in the living room was enough to have me craving for the second book.

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
